The Independent
Sunderland
Sunday 18th October 2009

On Sunday, I met Mattie Vant (from The Small Screen Light Show) at his flat and we walked down to the Independent where he was performing an acoustic set. The headliners were some musicians from Bordeaux, France. I'd never been to the Independent before, it was a cracking little venue upstairs, painted all in black. Mattie's songs were new and absolutely amazing. I had to leave early to catch the metro back home, but got this photo of this lovely man standing outside the venue shortly before the gig.

Do you really wish to see Shenmue 3? Since the saga remains unfinished I have put it upon myself to write my own version of the story's final 11 chapters out of respect for the all the fans. See it all here [link]

haha well this isn't mattie, cos mattie is the 18 year old lad that was playing, i've got loads of photos of him, but this bloke was really smashing. quite nice, he took a nice photo too :hug:
