Why would anyone report this photo? i don't understand that at all.



Corb Kisses Boys... a shot taken for publicity purposes just after their set on Saturday in the dressing room. He was given a kiss by a friend in a pale room with soft lights, so there are no added textures or effects other than a bit of contrast. It was a huge gig as The Ballarats were playing with The Ramsays and The Holloways! Jonathan Corbett is a LEGEND here, when he walks along in Newcastle everyone calls his name. People all over the world have listened to their music, and yet it was not only removed from the category photojournalism, CONCERTS AND MUSICIANS... it was also given a MATURE warning. Mature? for what?? A chaste kiss between friends? There are plenty of photos of girls kissing boys and boys kissing girls. All I can guess is someone has something against boys kissing boys. That's not only wrong, but isn't it illegal?

But boys kissing is eeevil! :lol:

I can kind of understand it being moved category, since it's not obvious that it's at a concert, but I don't think it needs a mature flag at all. That's just silly.

You had trouble with the photojournalism tag with that pic of the boy and the digger on the beach. If I remember, the GD thought that you'd set the shot up, as if photojournalists never do that.

Ask them why the mature tag and make sure that you get an answer. While homophobia would be illegal here you'll find that DA is covered by USA law. Remove the mature tag for a start and take it up with whoever. x

This has angered me and is just typical of the double standards people hold!
If this were a guy and a girl there would be no way anyone would consider the subject 'mature'.
Apart from that even I can see as a complete 'know-nothing-outsider-to-the-situation' that this is entirely innocent in its nature (that's why I like the piece so much actually it's exhuberant and playful and well fun).

I am honestly appalled that people are that stupid!

DA admins should feel ashamed...!
